At Villa La Guacamaya we offer a refreshing vacation experience, far from the crowded beaches of the Northern Yucatan Peninsula. We are located in the beautiful and remote area known as Xcalak, in the Southern Yucatan Peninsula, South of the Sian Kaan Biosphere and of Majuhual, in the area now known as the Costa Maya, 20 miles North of Ambergris Cayes and San Pedro in Belize. It is also a well known area to access the world class diving on the nearby Chinchorro reefs.

So come enjoy the coral reefs and mangroves, explore by kayak, scuba dive or snorkel right off the beach, deep sea fish or flyfish for bonefish, tarpon and snook in the lagoons and flats. Or you can simply relax in a hammock, under a palapa with a cool drink, a good book and/or your companion of choice. It's all here waiting for you at Villa La Guacamaya.

 
 

Accommodations

Villa La Guacamaya offers 2 beachfront bedrooms, each with private bathrooms, including a large kitchen and dining room which seats 8 or more. Bedrooms have a double bed, pullout single bed and hammock. The Laguna Apartment is a separate 2nd floor apartment with a view of the beach and the lagoon which has a double bed, bathroom with shower, and kitchen.We now have a 1st floor bedroom with bathroom below the Laguna apartment.

All of the rooms have overhead ceiling fans, hot water and purified water dispensers. We provide fresh linens, bath towels and various sundries for your comfort. Both kitchens have a refrigerator, gas stove, cooking utensils, pots & pans, and dishes. All windows and sliding doors have screens so you can enjoy the pleasant tropical breeze. Maid service is provided daily.
